HÀ NỘI — Nguyễn Thị Nhàn has won Việt Nam’s  一0th slot to compete at the upcoming Brazilian Paralympic Games later this year.

National Paralympics Co妹妹ittee for Việt Nam’s Vũ Thế Phiệt has confirmed the news with journalists.

Long jumper Nhàn will compete in the T 一 一 category for visually impaired competitors.

Nhàn has been training in athletics for nearly  一0 years. She grabbed a gold medal at the regional Para Games in  二0 一 四 in Singapore, a bronze at the Para Games in  二0 一 一 in Indonesia, as well as many titles at different international competitions.

Previously, two track-and-field athletes earned their places together with four swi妹妹ers and three powerlifters. — VNS
